This morning I woke up to a text saying that my cousins little girl was going to make an appearance today! I was excited but also stricken with fear. She was only 29 weeks pregnant which is way too early. Babies are supposed to be born full term which is anywhere from 37 - 40 weeks. I myself am a NICU mom so I know the emotional pain that comes with having a premature baby. I decided to head up to the hospital. My cousin is doing great and is in great spirits. Upon seeing little Adalynn, all those feelings came rushing back. She looked fantastic though! She was hooked to a breathing machine but she's breathing on her own. She has so many wires and tubes hooked to her. Nothing new for me but to a new parent it's over whelming. I'm so glad I took my camera and was able to capture these photos for her parents. I wish I had someone do this for me.
