When I found out that my good friend Erin Greene and her husband were pregnant I was more than excited! I can't even describe how I felt! In the beginning it seems as if the ONLY thing Erin craved were pickles. Typical pregnant lady I guess, but, it had to be a specific pickle! Roys, a deli by her house, has the best pickles I have ever tasted in my entire life. No exaggeration! Yes, Erin did take me one day because I just had to try one for myself.

When it was getting closer to finding out the babies gender I wanted to photograph the reveal! Originally we were going to do smoke bombs. The internet let us down, we couldn't find pink smoke bombs anywhere!

Then Erin had the idea that her and her husband, and Lucas of course, pop a balloon with powder in it! Yesssssss!!!!!! (If you don't want to do powder for your reveal we can do confetti!)

Erin's mother knew what the gender of their baby was so offered to help her fill the balloon with the powder. Ian isn't a fan of surprises so he was in on it too! Erin went into the other room to get ready. Ian, Erin's mother, and myself all sat on the couch with the 2 powder colors in front of us. Pink and blue. Erin's mother picked up one of the color packets and said "we won't be needing this one" then picked up the opposite color, "we need this one!"

Ahhhhh!!! First words out of my mouth "she's going to be so happy!"

Fast forward to filling the balloon. I was COVERED in the powder and had to go wash my hands, rub my dress down and clean the black balloon off!

Time to go to the park!

We were standing around waiting for Erin to set up Facebook live for just her family. Once she was ready we told her to pop the balloon. She went to try once but stopped! "I'm so scared!" Oh, Erin!

I gave her a countdown to help get her ready "1......2......3.......POP!"
